Roles and Responsibilities :

  • Designing and developing new or changing existing web applications / APIs.
  • Maintaining and troubleshooting web applications and APIs.
  • Writing and maintaining reliable Ruby / Rails code.
  • Integrating with data storage solutions such as database, file storage or object storage.
  • Creating services using microservices architecture.
  • Dockerize the application / service
  • Identifying and fixing bottlenecks and bugs.
  • Integrating user-facing elements designed by the front-end team.
  • Connecting applications with other internal or third party systems.

Must Have Skills :

  • Experience : Over 7 years of hands-on experience in Ruby on Rails.
  • Expertise : Proficiency in either Sidekiq or Shoryuken, showcasing a deep understanding of background job processing.
  • Frontend Knowledge : Solid knowledge in React and Typescript, demonstrating the ability to work with modern frontend technologies.
  • Cloud Computing : Familiarity with AWS, with a specific emphasis on SQS (Simple Queue Service).
  • Willing to work in EST hours.

    • Qualification :

  • BE / B.Tech or Equivalent degree in Computer Science or related field.
