US Accounting Specialist

Position Overview :

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive

U.S. Accounting Associate

to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for supporting accounting operations in compliance with U.S. GAAP, assisting in month-end and year-end close activities, and ensuring accurate financial reporting.

Key Responsibilities :

Prepare and post journal entries, account reconciliations, and general ledger transactions.

Assist with month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing processes.

Maintain accurate records of financial transactions and ensure compliance with U.S. GAAP.

Support accounts payable and accounts receivable processes.

Prepare financial reports and assist in audits, both internal and external.

Assist with tax reporting and compliance as required.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve accounting discrepancies.

Continuously identify process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy.

Qualifications :

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

1–3 years of accounting experience, preferably in U.S. accounting or corporate finance.

Strong understanding of U.S. GAAP and accounting principles.

Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, Oracle, NetSuite).

Excellent Excel skills and attention to detail.

Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
