Senior Research Analyst

The candidate we are looking for must demonstrate a strong fit with the team, with the ability to embrace the team's investment process.

This is an important role with a number of key responsibilities, including :

• Help compile data and conduct research, including ad hoc projects as needed by the team.
• Help conduct market research, competitor analysis, and support product development.
• Contribute new investment ideas with in-depth analysis of potential candidates. This may include gaining a detailed understanding of the drivers of returns and valuations for the business in question and financial analysis based on detailed financial modelling (building models will be important).
• Present company and industry analysis to the broader team including our regional counterparts, and clearly articulate and debate the key drivers of the business and valuation.
• Actively engage in debates and discussions of stock and portfolio ideas from other team members.
• Working with members of other focus teams to leverage expertise and work across the equity platform.
• Build network of contacts across sectors / geographies to facilitate channel checks and new ideas generation.
• Support the marketing and client maintenance efforts as necessary, including running performance and risk analysis and updating decks, etc.
