About the Role :

We are seeking a highly experienced and technically authoritative Principal SAP Basis Consultant with 12+ years of experience in SAP Basis administration and architecture. This leadership role demands expert-level proficiency across the SAP product suite (S / 4HANA, ECC, BW / 4HANA) and deep competence in cloud operations (AWS, Azure, GCP) and SAP HANA database management. You will be responsible for leading the entire lifecycle of SAP infrastructure, from design and installation to performance optimization and technical mentorship.

Key Responsibilities :

• SAP Architecture & Installation : Lead the end-to-end design, installation, and configuration of complex SAP systems (S / 4HANA, ECC, BW, Solution Manager, Fiori, PO, etc.) across diverse development, test, and production landscapes.
• System Administration & Maintenance : Manage all facets of daily SAP system administration, including transport management, client copies, system refreshes, and backups / restores.
• Upgrades and Migrations : Plan and execute complex technical projects such as system upgrades, patches, kernel updates, and major migrations (SUM / DMO) across various scenarios (on-premise to cloud or cloud-to-cloud).
• HANA Database Administration : Implement and manage all aspects of SAP HANA database administration, including advanced performance tuning, backup and recovery, replication setup, and proactive monitoring.
• Cloud Operations : Utilize strong hands-on experience managing SAP environments on cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP, optimizing system placement and resource consumption.
• Performance & High Availability : Ensure high availability and peak performance of all SAP applications through continuous, proactive monitoring, system tuning, and optimization procedures. Oversee disaster recovery setup and validation.
• Technical Security & Compliance : Manage user administration, role management, and authorization setup within SAP systems. Apply solid experience with SAP Security concepts to ensure audit compliance.
• Technical Leadership & Troubleshooting : Provide direct technical leadership and mentoring to Basis team members. Possess the proven ability to troubleshoot complex system issues and implement permanent, long-term preventive measures.
• Standards & Integration : Manage key system components like SAP Router, SSO, SSL certificates, and leverage Solution Manager (ChaRM, EWA) for change management and monitoring.
