The Web Publisher will play a key role in managing and maintaining digital content across the organization’s web platforms, primarily within Drupal and Acquia Site Studio. This role requires strong skills in Acquia Site Studio and Drupal, combined with a practical UX focus to create purposeful web pages. Exceptional attention to detail is essential to manage expanding stakeholder expectations.
Responsibilities
- Manage the end-to-end content publishing workflow, operating primarily within Acquia Site Studio and the Drupal CMS.
- Apply UX-driven, strategic thinking to evaluate page purpose, optimize user journeys, and ensure clear call-to-action (CTA) pathways.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including creative and marketing teams, to ensure proper image approvals, bio placements, and hierarchy compliance.
- Identify and report issues using JIRA , providing detailed documentation for bugs or feature enhancements.
- Support basic SEO best practices and ensure content is optimized for visibility and performance.
- Handle minimal publishing tasks within Salesforce Experience Cloud.
Required Skills
Experience : Approximately 2 years of professional experience in web publishing. (Candidates with 12 months of deep, relevant Acquia Site Studio experience will be strongly considered).Core Technical Skills :Acquia Site Studio : Strong, demonstrated experience is essential.Drupal : Proven experience with the Drupal CMS.Essential Functional Skills :UX Experience : Ability to think strategically about user experience, content layout, and page goals beyond simple data entry.Critical Soft Skills :Attention to Detail : A critical requirement for the role, ensuring accuracy in content, approvals, and adherence to brand guidelines.Qualifications
HTML / CSS and Javascript : Basic knowledge for troubleshooting and inspection purposes (note : no component building is required).JIRA : Familiarity with JIRA for bug tracking and project management.SEO : Understanding of basic SEO principles.UX Testing : Experience or familiarity with UX testing methodologies.Salesforce Experience Cloud : Prior exposure is a plus, but not required.Work Schedule & Training
