Job Description : Position Overview :
We are seeking an experienced SAP Plant Maintenance (PM) Functional Consultant to support and enhance our SAP S / 4HANA landscape within the Life Sciences domain. The ideal candidate will have 5–7 years of experience in SAP PM, with a strong understanding of maintenance, calibration, and asset management processes in a GxP-regulated environment. The consultant will work closely with manufacturing, quality, and IT teams to deliver compliant, efficient, and integrated SAP solutions.
Key Responsibilities :
- Lead and deliver SAP PM module configuration, enhancements and support for maintenance and calibration processes in a Life Sciences (GxP) setting.
- Work with business stakeholders to analyze, design, and document maintenance management requirements across production and laboratory equipment.
- Configure and support key SAP PM functionalities :
- Equipment and functional location hierarchy
- Maintenance notifications and orders
- Preventive, corrective, and calibration maintenance
- Maintenance plans, task lists, and measuring points
- Work permit and safety management (EHS integration where applicable)
- Ensure compliance with GxP and validation standards (CSV – Computer System Validation) in all SAP changes.
- Collaborate with Quality Management (QM) and Production Planning (PP) teams to support end-to-end asset and equipment lifecycle management.
- Integrate SAP PM with mobile and digital maintenance tools (e.g., SAP Asset Manager, Fiori apps, or third-party mobile solutions).
- Support integration with IoT systems, calibration tools, and asset tracking applications.
- Participate in all project phases—Blueprinting, Realization, Validation, Testing, Cutover, and Go-Live support.
- Prepare and maintain system documentation, SOPs, and user training materials per regulatory and internal compliance requirements.
- Provide ongoing support and continuous improvement for SAP PM processes and applications.
Required Skills & Qualifications :
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Life Sciences, Computer Science, or related field.5–7 years of hands-on SAP PM functional experience, including at least one end-to-end S / 4HANA implementation.Strong knowledge of SAP PM master data (equipment, functional locations, task lists, maintenance plans, notifications, work orders, etc.).Experience in regulated environments (GMP / GxP) and working with validation documentation (URS, FS, IQ / OQ / PQ).Understanding of integration between SAP PM, QM, MM, PP, and FI / CO modules.Experience in mobile and digital maintenance solutions (SAP Asset Manager, Work Manager, or Fiori).Strong communication and analytical skills to interface with business and IT teams.Ability to document processes and solutions in line with regulatory audit requirements.
