Job Title : IPC Author – Airbus Programs Location : Bangalore Experience Level : 4–9 years Job Summary : We are looking for an experienced IPC Author with a strong background in Airbus aircraft programs. The role involves creating, modifying, and revising Illustrated Parts Catalogues (IPC) in accordance with Airbus standards and regulatory guidelines. Key Responsibilities : Develop and update IPC content for Airbus aircraft including SA, LR, MB, and XWB programs (e.G., A319, A320, A321, A330, A340, A350, A380). Interpret engineering drawings, service bulletins, and change requests to create accurate IPC data. Ensure compliance with ATA iSpec2200 and Airbus-specific documentation standards. Use Airbus tools such as ZAMIZ, GIPSY, SAP, and DACAS for authoring and data management. Perform impact analysis and implement changes based on engineering inputs. Review and validate IPC content created by junior authors. Conduct root cause analysis for rejections and implement corrective actions. Provide training and mentorship to junior team members and new joiners. Required Skills & Qualifications : B.E. / B.Tech in Aeronautical Engineering, AME, or Diploma in Aeronautics. 4–8 years of experience in IPC authoring for Airbus aircraft. Proficiency in Airbus tools and processes. Strong understanding of aircraft systems and parts breakdown. Excellent attention to detail and technical writing skills. Preferred Qualifications : Experience with S1000D or other structured documentation standards. Familiarity with Agile documentation workflows. Ability to lead small teams or projects.
