Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Senior Merchant located in Jodhpur. The Senior Merchant will be responsible for overseeing the entire merchandising process, from product selection and procurement to sales and marketing. The day-to-day tasks include managing vendor relationships, negotiating contracts and pricing, coordinating with design and production teams, monitoring inventory levels, analyzing sales data, creating merchandising strategies, and ensuring that products meet quality standards and customer expectations.

Qualifications

• Experience in product selection, procurement, and vendor management
• Strong negotiation and contract management skills
• Proficient in sales data analysis and inventory management
• Ability to develop and implement effective merchandising strategies
• Strong understanding of quality standards and customer expectations
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work on-site in Jodhpur
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field
• Experience in the arts and crafts industry is a plus
