Job descriptionAssist in designing and optimizing database structures Create and maintain indexes and stored procedures Monitor SQL Server performance and identify bottlenecks Implement basic performance tuning techniques (e.g., indexing, query optimization) Maintain up-to-date documentation of SQL Server environments and procedures Strong understanding of SQL Server fundamentals (T-SQL, database objects, data types) Experience with database backup and restore procedures Basic troubleshooting skills for SQL Server issues Familiarity with high availability concepts (e.g., mirroring, failover clusters) Ability to work independently and collaboratively Security : Understanding of SQL Server security best practices, including data encryption, access control, and vulnerability management. Inventory Management : Ability to track and manage SQL Server instances, databases, and other assets. Patching : Knowledge of SQL Server patching procedures and best practices.

Responsibilities :
Basic SQL Server Administration :
- Installation, configuration, and maintenance of SQL Server instances (2012, 2014, 2016, 2017, 2019, and 2022)
- Database creation, management, and backup / restore operations
- User and role management
- Troubleshooting common SQL Server issues
