Aerostructures Design Engineer

Qualification & Skills

Degree level or equivalent in Aeronautical or Mechanical Engineering preferred, with a minimum of 4 to 8 years of experience in Design of Composite and / or metallic components.

Essential skills :

• Excellent knowledge of Aerospace structures
• Experience of CATIA V5 is essential with a good ability in 3D modelling and 2D drawing work.
• Experience with GD&T
• Good experience of aerospace Composite (honeycomb) / Metallic materials design methods and manufacturing processes
• Good knowledge of Microsoft office
• Customer focused / Ability to establish credibility with internal and external customers
• Understanding of processes : ECRs, Concessions,…
• Awareness of A / C industry standards, regulations and qualification requirements
• Good English verbal and written communication skills
• Able to work to tight, demanding deadlines and customer demands
• Ability to work effectively within an integrated project team
