Job description

We are seeking a seasoned Delivery Manager to oversee and drive end-to-end project execution for one of our key clients. The ideal candidate will bring strong expertise in IT service delivery, client engagement, team leadership, and preferably, experience in the U.S. banking domain.

Job Title : Delivery Manager

Location : Bangalore

Joining Timeline : Immediate to within 30 days

Key Responsibilities :

Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of multiple concurrent projects or programs, ensuring high quality and adherence to timelines and budgets.
Serve as the primary point of contact for the client, facilitating ongoing communication, expectation management, and alignment with business objectives.
Manage cross-functional teams including developers, testers, analysts, and support staff across onshore-offshore models.
Monitor key project metrics, proactively identify risks or dependencies, and drive timely resolutions.
Ensure compliance with SLAs, contractual terms, and internal governance standards.
Coordinate with resource managers for staffing, training needs, and performance management.
Continuously improve delivery processes to enhance efficiency, quality, and client satisfaction.
Support pre-sales initiatives and solution design when required.
Collaborate with finance and operations teams to forecast and track revenue and resource demand.
Work closely with talent acquisition for proactive workforce planning based on project pipeline and ramp-up schedules.

Required Skills & Experience :

12+ years of experience in IT project delivery, with at least 3 years in a Delivery Manager or Program Manager role.

Strong understanding of SDLC and project methodologies such as Agile and Waterfall.

Proven experience managing complex projects and large teams in distributed / onshore-offshore environments.

Exceptional stakeholder management and client engagement skills.

Excellent communication, leadership, and team management capabilities.

Hands-on experience with project management tools such as JIRA, MS Project, and Confluence.

Professional certifications such as PMP, PRINCE2, or CSM are preferred.

Preferred Qualifications :

Prior experience in the U.S. banking or financial services domain.

Knowledge of regulatory compliance, core banking systems, or digital banking platforms.

Ability to thrive in fast-paced, dynamic, and client-driven environments.
