Job Title : Senior Inventory Supervisor

Job Purpose :
The Senior Inventory Supervisor will be responsible for overseeing all inventory management activities within the plant — including raw seed, processed seed, packaging materials, and consumables — ensuring accurate stock records, timely material availability, and compliance with quality and audit standards. This role supports smooth plant operations and production planning through efficient warehouse and inventory control.
Key Responsibilities :
1. Inventory Management & Control
- Oversee daily inventory operations for raw materials, packaging materials, and finished goods.
- Maintain accurate stock records in manual systems and ensure zero stock variances.
- Conduct periodic cycle counts and full physical stock audits in coordination with customer team
- Track inventory ageing and initiate timely action to prevent obsolescence.
2. Warehouse Operations
Supervise inward and outward movements of materials and finished goods as per SOPs.Ensure proper storage conditions, seed segregation, and FIFO / FEFO compliance.Coordinate with production, quality, and dispatch teams for smooth material flow.Maintain warehouse hygiene, layout, and safety standards.3. Coordination & Reporting
Support production planning by providing accurate stock reports and availability updates.Coordinate with processing team for material replenishment based on order levels.Prepare daily / weekly / monthly inventory MIS reports for management review.Assist during internal, external, and customer audits4. Team Leadership
Supervise inventory and warehouse staff, allocate duties, and ensure adherence to processes.Train team members on documentation, and safety practices.Promote accountability and continuous improvement culture within the warehouse.Qualifications & Experience :
Education : Graduate(Diploma or Certification in Inventory / Warehouse Management preferred)
Experience : Minimum 4–5 years in inventory or warehouse management, preferably in seed or Agri-input industry.Technical Skills :Proficiency in warehouse managementStrong knowledge of inventory control principles, FIFO, GRN, and dispatch documentationFamiliar with audit processes and stock reconciliationKey Competencies :
