Job description :
To work in the financial controls team, which supports the CFO's office of an European private equity client, typically in the areas of corporate accounting including consolidation based on IFRS and statutory reporting, and also lead project initiatives across these support areas
Job requirements
Domain skills :
- Should have around three to five years of post- qualification experience in consolidation of financial statements as per IFRS and should have handled related reporting.
- Ability to understand the group structure and review relevant consolidation adjustment entries.
- Ability to analyze the variances between actual and budgeted operating expenses.
- Ability to review results of transaction reconciliations in the areas of Intercompany, control accounts, Bank, and others
Technical / Behavioral skills
Good working knowledge in MS Excel, MS Word, and MS Power point; VBA programming knowledge will be an added advantage.Good working knowledge of PowerBIExposure to any of these business software applications such as SAP, business dynamics, and others,Good written / verbal communication skills, interpersonal and presentation skillsOthers :

Lead across project areas in the engagement (both, regular and ad-hoc ones) as listed below :
Manage the activity dashboard with respect to various group activities (like journal postings, reconciliations, proofs) and ensure the appropriate allocation of the same among the other team members.Constantly monitor various requests coming through different communication channels (mailboxes or team channels) to the team; financial controls activities, payment requisitions, and effectively allocate all ad-hoc activities among other team members in the team.Monitor the transactions interfaced between various ERPs (monthly closes) and fix / flag the issue accordingly.Coordinating with different teams (Client teams and internally) to collate right information on a timely basis and communicating on a constant basis with client team on the status of tasks being handled.Review various reconciliation results, regular reports, and ad-hoc requests (analysis / reports / workings) prepared by team on day-to-day basis and make sure they meet best quality standards.Generating regular as well as ad-hoc analysis / reports based on client / team requests.Improving the current set of reports, and proactively working with team / other counterparts to add value on a consistent basisWorking along with other teams within the larger project group in special projectsOther requirements
