Role Overview :
We are seeking an experienced and proactive Azure Technical Consultant / Cloud Engineer to provide consultancy services for a dedicated UK-based client. The role involves designing, building, deploying, and maintaining cloud infrastructure and applications, with a strong emphasis on secure, scalable, and reliable environments.
Key responsibilities :
- Design and implement cloud infrastructure solutions using Microsoft Azure.
- Build and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Bicep, Terraform, and ARM templates.
- Configure and manage networking components, containers, and automation pipelines.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and deliver tailored cloud solutions.
- Ensure compliance with cloud governance, security policies, and best practices.
- Provide documentation for cloud environment setup and configuration.
- Deliver recommendations and conduct knowledge transfer sessions.
Required Skills & Qualifications :
Strong proficiency in major cloud platforms, with Azure- essential and AWS- desirable.Hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code tools : Bicep, Terraform, ARM templates.Solid understanding of cloud networking, containerization (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes), and automation tools (e.g., Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions).Experience in scripting (PowerShell, Bash) and CI / CD pipeline integration.Familiarity with cloud security frameworks, identity management, and RBAC.Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate across technical and business teams.
