Role Purpose :
The Ingest Specialist – Moving Image is responsible for reviewing video and motion project files delivered by the Tier1 agency. The role ensures that editing and animation source files align with the campaign toolkit, match the client-approved final output, and are complete and ready for adaptation. This includes managing DAM uploads and metadata for all approved moving-image assets.
Key Responsibilities :
1. QC & Toolkit Compliance
- Review project files from Premiere Pro, After Effects, DaVinci Resolve, AutoDesk Flame, Avid Pro tools Ultimate.
- Validate that timelines, compositions, graphics, supers, transitions, and animation rules match the approved low-res reference output.
- Check adherence to brand motion guidelines, supers placement, safe zones, and toolkit templates.
- Ensure assets are structured to support multi-format adaptation (16 : 9, 9 : 16, 1 : 1, etc.).
2. Technical Verification
Verify all media is properly linked : footage, VO, music, SFX, GFX, LUTs, and typography assets.Validate file structures, nested comps, naming, organized layers, and archive completeness.Check codecs, colour settings, framerates, export templates, and annotation files.Assess animation fidelity, timing accuracy, and version alignment.3. DAM Upload & Metadata
Upload completed video masters and project files to the client DAM.Add metadata tags (formats, versions, markets, rights usage, asset type).Maintain proper filing hierarchy, version history, and asset accessibility.4. Collaboration & Reporting
Communicate QC findings to Tier 1 and internal teams.Maintain ingested asset logs and ingest status trackers.Recommend improvements to motion ingest workflows.Skills & Experience :
4-7 years of experience with proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects; DaVinci Resolve preferred.Strong understanding of video production, motion graphics workflows, and adaptation requirements.Familiarity with colour grading workflows, LUT usage, and common codec / export standards.Experience working with DAM platforms for video asset management.Exceptional eye for detail and ability to detect timing, brand, or structural inconsistencies.
