Role Overview :

We are seeking a Senior Data Engineer with 8–13 years of experience in designing and developing secure, scalable data solutions. This role demands deep technical expertise in big data ecosystems, security architecture, and distributed systems, along with strong leadership and collaboration skills.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop robust data pipelines using Informatica Big Data Management (BDM) .
• Work extensively with Hive, HDFS, HQL, Oozie , and implement efficient data partitioning strategies.
• Build and optimize solutions across SQL and NoSQL databases.
• Automate workflows and manage system tasks using Linux shell scripting and CRON jobs .
• Architect and implement security systems , identify design gaps, and ensure compliance with enterprise security standards.
• Develop wrapper solutions for legacy components to meet modern security and compliance requirements.
• Monitor and troubleshoot distributed services in production environments.
• Apply DevOps and CI / CD principles using tools like GitHub, Jenkins, and Agile methodologies.
• Ensure data governance and compliance with encryption, anonymization, and integrity protocols.
• Understand and apply networking fundamentals including DNS, Proxy, ACLs, and Policy controls .
• Promote best practices in logging, event handling, and in-memory data storage to protect sensitive information.
