Senior AI Engineer

We are seeking an experienced

Software Architect

to design and optimize scalable systems capable of handling millions of users and high-throughput workloads. You will play a key role in defining our system architecture, improving performance, and ensuring reliability across distributed environments. The ideal candidate is passionate about system design, microservices, and solving complex performance bottlenecks in real-world production systems.

Key Responsibilities

Architecture & Design

Define and evolve the overall system architecture to ensure scalability, security, and maintainability.

Lead the design of microservices, data pipelines, APIs, and distributed systems with an emphasis on performance and fault tolerance.

Review and optimize database schemas, caching strategies, and message queues for throughput and latency.

Performance & Scalability

Diagnose and eliminate performance bottlenecks across backend services and databases.

Establish load testing, profiling, and benchmarking practices.

Guide teams in implementing patterns for scaling (horizontal / vertical), sharding, partitioning, and async processing.

Collaboration & Leadership

Work closely with engineering, DevOps, and product teams to align architectural decisions with business goals.

Mentor engineers in system design best practices, performance tuning, and scalable coding patterns.

Drive adoption of architectural governance and ensure compliance with technical standards.

Technology & Innovation

Evaluate emerging technologies and tools for scalability and system resilience.

Define and document architectural blueprints, reference implementations, and technical roadmaps.

Collaborate with SREs to ensure system observability, monitoring, and incident response readiness.

Required Skills & Experience

Education :

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience.

Experience :

10+ years of software development experience, including at least 4 years in system or solution architecture.

Technical Expertise :

10+ years of software development experience, with 4+ years in architecture or system design.

Proven experience in designing and scaling distributed systems and microservices, building scalable apps using

Python,

Node.js ,

Expressjs ,

Nestjs

and

MongoDB .

Demonstrated expertise in handling time zone–aware analytics data for a global user base.

Strong knowledge of

AWS services

(ECS, Lambda, RDS, DynamoDB, API Gateway, CloudFront).

Implement

subscription management features , including plan upgrades, renewals, cancellations, and pro-rated billing.

Solid understanding of

React ,

RESTful APIs , and

GraphQL

integration at scale.

Expertise in

performance profiling ,

load testing , and

database query optimization .

Experience with

message queues

(Kafka, RabbitMQ, or SQS) and

event-driven architecture .

Familiarity with

CI / CD pipelines ,

Docker ,

Kubernetes , and

monitoring tools

like

Prometheus ,

Datadog , or

New Relic .

Soft Skills :

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Excellent communication, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

Strategic thinker with a pragmatic approach to delivery.
