We are seeking a proactive Application & Functional Support Engineer to provide application support, deployment, and maintenance for Java-based applications. The candidate will work in shifts (excluding night shifts) and provide technical and functional support to member banks, ensuring smooth operations of payment systems.

The role demands hands-on experience with Java stack applications, Linux environments, PostgreSQL databases, Apache web servers, and IBM WebSphere MQ Series, along with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues efficiently.

Key Responsibilities :

• Application Support & Maintenance :
• Deploy and maintain Java-based applications on Linux servers.
• Provide technical and functional support to member banks via phone and email.
• Monitor applications during Beginning of Day (BOD), intra-day, and End of Day (EOD) activities.
• Perform patch upgrades, web server installations, troubleshooting, and log analysis.
• Maintain production SOPs and deploy production releases.
• Investigate user queries through SQL database queries, application logs, and application flow issues.
• Coordinate with Network, Infrastructure, and System Administration teams for issue resolution.
