Vice President - ETrading and Algo Trading

We’re looking for an experienced Electronic Trading Risk & Control Manager (VP). This is a senior role where you’ll combine electronic trading risk expertise, stakeholder engagement, and strong control execution to ensure global risk and control framework remains robust and future-ready.ResponsibilitiesOversee and enhance controls across the algorithm lifecycle, automated controls, and electronic trading platforms (OMS, EMS, D2C)Ensure governance, compliance, and risk management of electronic and algorithmic trading activitiesRespond to risk issues, internal reviews, and regulatory inquiries (MiFID II, MAR, SEC 15(c), SS518, etc.)Design tools to monitor trading risks and perform pre- & post-trade control testingCollaborate with business heads and risk managers to strengthen operating models and deliver strategic transformation initiativesMaintain an algo inventory and support regulatory remediation projectsQualificationsDegree in Computer Science, Engineering, Finance, or related fieldRequired SkillsStrong background in electronic trading / algo trading risk management within investment banking or top-tier consultancyKnowledge of risk & control frameworks, governance, and regulatory requirementsFamiliarity with electronic trading systems (OMS, EMS, D2C) and financial products (fixed income, currencies)Technical skills in SQL (data queries) and ideally Python (analysis / automation)Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and problem-solving skills
