Job Title : Instructional Designer-IC5
Location : Bangalore
Key Responsibilities :
- Conduct comprehensive content audit and needs analysis for the CMA program.
- Redesign and update course materials in Rise, Intrepid, and related platforms.
- Apply instructional design best practices, including adult learning theory and learner-centered design.
- Ensure consistency in accessibility, tone, formatting, and branding standards.
- Partner with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to validate technical accuracy and program relevance.
- Independently manage project timelines, deliverables, and quality control.
- Collaborate closely with the Content Owner to ensure updates align with portfolio standards.
- Document content changes, versioning, and update cycles for transparency and scalability.
- Support QA processes, defect resolution, and ongoing enhancement cycles.
Skills- To be successful in this role you have :
Strong knowledge of instructional design methodologies (backward design, adult learning, performance-based learning).Demonstrated experience in content redesign and course development within digital learning platforms (Rise, Intrepid, or equivalent).Ability to conduct and translate needs analysis and content audits into actionable redesign plans.Strong project management skills : able to prioritize, manage timelines, and deliver independently.Skilled in partnering with SMEs and cross-functional teams to gather requirements and validate technical accuracy.Attention to detail in tone, formatting, and accessibility compliance.Familiarity with quality assurance processes, version control, and content maintenance cycles.Strong written and verbal communication skills for coordinating with stakeholders.Comfort with AI-assisted tools and workflows (preferred but not required).Bachelor's degree in Instructional Design, Education, Learning Sciences, or related field (Master's degree preferred).5+ years of experience in instructional design and eLearning development.Proven experience working with corporate training programs, ideally in technology or certification programs.Portfolio or examples of course redesign work demonstrating effective instructional design practices.
