About The Job :

MaxIQ is seeking an experienced Sr Automation QE Engineer with a strong foundation in building frameworks from scratch and expertise in Playwright, TypeScript / JavaScript to join our dynamic team! As an Automation QA Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in crafting reliable and scalable automation solutions that ensure our web applications are robust and Responsibilities :

• Design and develop automation frameworks from scratch for testing complex web applications
• Write, maintain, and enhance automated test scripts using Playwright and TypeScript / JavaScript
• Integrate automated test suites with CI / CD pipelines (e.g., GitHub Actions, GitLab CI)
• Ensure the scalability and maintainability of test frameworks across multiple projects
• Collaborate closely with developers, product managers, and QA analysts to understand requirements and ensure test coverage
• Perform functional, regression, and integration testing to validate web application behavior
• Review application architecture and provide input on testability, reliability, and performance
• Participate in Agile ceremonies and contribute to sprint planning, estimation, and retrospectives
• Troubleshoot and debug test failures, identifying root causes and recommending solutions
• Stay updated with emerging tools, technologies, and industry trends in test Qualifications :
• 6+ years of experience in software testing with a focus on test automation
• Proven experience in building custom automation frameworks from the ground up
• Expert-level proficiency in Playwright and TypeScript / JavaScript
• Strong understanding of web technologies including HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and RESTful APIs
• Experience with TestNG or equivalent testing libraries / frameworks
• Hands-on experience with CI / CD tools like GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Jenkins, etc.
• Solid knowledge of Agile methodologies and the software development lifecycle
• Ability to create modular, reusable, and scalable test components
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
• A passion for continuous learning and improving testing processes and tools
