Tax Reporting and Reconciliation Analyst

The Tax Analyst for the Transaction Tax team will report directly to the Transaction Tax Manager. This role is responsible for managing key functions within Transaction Tax, including overseeing the month-end process and ensuring tax compliance through the preparations of tax returns and execution of tax reconciliations. This person will be able to work in a fast-paced environment and be adaptive to changes. This person will have a “can-do” attitude and be able to roll up the sleeves to do hands-on work. This person will assist our finance function develop, implement, and maintain accounting policies and procedures to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting.

Responsibilities :

• Prepare and Review Month End Reports. Preparing USF analysis and Traffic Study reports and other revenue reports.
• Prepare Tax Returns. Responsible for preparing state returns, including sales and use tax and business tax returns, using the appropriate jurisdiction websites and Avalara. Ensure timely payment of tax due.
• Prepare financial statements. Preparing monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements;

assisting with regulatory as applicable. Ensure an accurate and timely monthly, quarterly and year-end accounting close.
