Job Summary.
BigTapp is seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Assistant Manager Finance to join our finance team in Chennai.
The role is ideal for professionals with 6-8 years of experience in finance and accounting, who are proficient in managing day-to-day financial operations and reporting.
The AM - Finance will be responsible for maintaining books of accounts, preparing MIS, Profit & Loss statements, Balance Sheets, cash management, and ensuring compliance with statutory requirements.
Mandatory Skills.
- Advanced finance knowledge, preferably with CA, CA-Inter, Graduate, or equivalent.
- 6-8 years of experience in finance / accounting roles.
- Hands-on experience in maintaining books of accounts.
- Problem-solving skills with strong analytical ability.
- Proficiency in finance software and ERPs (Zoho, Oracle, Netsuite, etc.) and MS Office.

Key Responsibilities.
Execute day-to-day financial operations, including payroll, invoicing, and other transactions.Manage intercompany transactions and reconciliations.Maintain accurate books of accounts for the organization.Prepare monthly Profit & Loss statements and monitor variances.Prepare Balance Sheet schedules and ensure completeness and accuracy.Manage cash requirements, banking transactions, and liquidity.Support the Business Finance Team in the preparation of MIS reports.Liaise with auditors, company secretaries, and tax consultants to ensure compliance and facilitate annual audits.Handle any other finance matters as directed by Management or Head Office Preferred advanced degree in Finance (CA, CA-Inter, MBA Finance, or equivalent).Graduate in Finance, Accounting, or related fields.Technical Skills.
Proficient in finance software and ERPs (Zoho, Oracle, Netsuite).Strong command of MS Excel and MS Office suite.Knowledge of accounting principles, statutory compliance, and financial reporting standards.Soft Skills.
