Job Purpose :

Mechanical Design Engineers at solar project sites to ensure execution of mechanical works is in line with approved engineering designs and industry standards. The role also provides real-time design support for site-specific modifications in module mounting structures (MMS), trackers, and mechanical layouts, acting as a bridge between Head Office (HO) Mechanical Design Team and Site Execution Team.

Key Responsibilities :

• Review and interpret mechanical design drawings issued by HO (MMS, trackers, layout, fabrication drawings, assembly details).
• Prepare / modify site-specific mechanical drawings when required (MMS foundation depth adjustments, structure alignment changes, fabrication detailing, anchoring).
• Conduct wind load and structural stability checks for site-specific conditions.
• Verify MMS foundation positions, tilt angles, and row spacing as per design.
• Support fabrication, welding, and erection quality checks against approved standards.
• Provide design clarifications / modifications at site and coordinate with HO for approvals.
• Issue red-marked drawings / as-built drawings after execution.
• Coordinate with civil and electrical teams to resolve interdisciplinary design issues.
• Support site teams in resolving mechanical erection bottlenecks (torque requirements, alignment, module clamping).
• Maintain proper documentation of design revisions, approvals, and as-built records.
