Key Responsibilities :

Lead and manage quality functions across multiple plants specializing in wire harness production for the automotive sector.

Design and implement quality systems aligned with IATF 16949, ISO 9001, and customer-specific requirements (CSR).

Ensure robust quality controls across incoming material, in-process assembly, and final inspection stages.

Drive First Pass Yield (FPY) improvement, defect reduction, and Zero Defect Delivery performance.

Conduct Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and drive Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPA) for internal issues and customer complaints.

Handle customer audits, PPAP submissions, and ensure on-time resolution of concerns.

Coordinate with R&D and Production to implement FMEA, control plans, and process validations.

Implement standardized inspection procedures (crimp height, pull force, continuity, HV testing, etc.) specific to wire harnesses.

Ensure adherence to automotive wiring standards such as JASO, ISO, and OEM specifications.

Build, mentor, and lead a performance-driven quality team, fostering a culture of discipline and continuous improvement.

Candidate Requirements :

Minimum 15 years of relevant experience, specifically in automotive wire harness quality.

Strong understanding of OEM quality expectations, field failure analysis, and warranty cost control.

Proficiency in core quality tools (APQP, PPAP, FMEA, SPC, MSA).

Practical knowledge of Lean Six Sigma, cost of poor quality (COPQ) control, and structured problem-solving (8D, 5-Why).

Proven track record in managing multi-plant operations and cross-functional teams.

Excellent communication, analytical, and leadership skills.

Strong data orientation with ability to create and manage quality MIS dashboards.
