Internet of Things Engineer

Position Overview :

The IoT Engineer will be responsible for designing, developing, and deploying IoT-based solutions that connect devices, collect data, and enable intelligent decision-making. This role involves working across hardware, firmware, software, and cloud platforms to deliver scalable and secure IoT ecosystems.

Key Responsibilities :

• Design and implement IoT systems including sensors, devices, networks, and cloud integration.
• Develop and deploy firmware for embedded systems and edge devices.
• Integrate IoT devices with cloud services (e.g., AWS IoT, Azure IoT Hub, Google Cloud IoT).
• Work on communication protocols such as MQTT, CoAP, HTTP, LoRa, Zigbee, or BLE.
• Perform data acquisition, analysis, and visualization from IoT devices.
• Ensure system security, scalability, and performance optimization.
• Collaborate with software, hardware, and data science teams for end-to-end solution delivery.
• Conduct testing, troubleshooting, and maintenance of IoT devices and platforms.
• Document system design, architecture, and operational procedures.
• Stay updated with emerging IoT trends, technologies, and industry standards.
