As a Service Engineer, you will play a crucial role in maintaining and ensuring the operational readiness of high-powered locomotives. You will oversee scheduled and unscheduled maintenance, heavy repairs, and fault resolution, ensuring that all activities meet strict timelines, quality, and safety standards. Working in a dynamic shop environment, you will coordinate with technicians and maintenance teams, monitor compliance with warranty requirements, and support continuous improvements in locomotive performance. Your work will directly impact the reliability of rail operations while providing hands-on technical expertise and guidance to ensure safety and efficiency. Accountabilities

• Perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance, heavy maintenance, and wreck repairs for locomotives, ensuring adherence to timelines, cost, and quality standards.
• Monitor and enforce compliance with maintenance work scopes, escalating non-compliance as needed.
• Support technicians in executing maintenance tasks and provide technical guidance.
• Promote a safe and environmentally compliant work environment.
• Maintain clean, organized work areas and ensure all maintenance documentation is accurate and complete.
• Comply with local regulations and customer-specific safety policies.
