About the Company : Emcure Pharmaceuticals is an Indian multinational that specializes in manufacturing generic pharmaceuticals and active pharmaceutical ingredients (APIs). Founded in 1983, it has grown into a significant player in the global pharmaceutical industry, focusing on oncology, cardiology, and anti-infective therapies. About the Role :

In this pivotal role, you will be managing a portfolio of INR 300 Crs+ with all the Leader brands in the respective segment. You will responsible for developing and executing comprehensive marketing strategies that maximize brand awareness, market share, and profitability within a defined budget. You will lead a talented team of marketing professionals, overseeing all aspects of marketing activities – from strategic planning and campaign creation to market research and sales forecasting.

THERAPY - Cardiovascular or Cardio - Diabetes

Roles & Responsibilities :

Develop and implement data-driven marketing strategies aligned with company objectives.

Conduct thorough market research to understand market trends, competitor analysis, and customer behaviour.

Lead the creation and execution of effective marketing campaigns across various channels, including digital marketing, print, and healthcare professional outreach.

Manage marketing budgets effectively, ensuring optimal return on investment (ROI) along with P&L management

Handhold the team and provide conceptual clarity to the team

Develop and interpret brand positioning and messaging for all marketing initiatives.

Forecast product demand and sales to inform production and sales strategies.

Oversee the activities of the marketing team, providing coaching, mentorship, and performance management.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams (sales, research & development, medical affairs) to ensure consistent brand messaging and seamless execution of marketing initiatives.

Track and analyze marketing performance metrics, identifying areas for improvement and adaptation.

Stay abreast of the latest trends and innovations in the pharmaceutical marketing landscape.

Ensure compliance guideline are followed while promoting brands to HCP’s

Qualifications :

Minimum 10+ years of progressive experience in pharmaceutical marketing, with a proven track record of success in driving brand growth and achieving sales targets.

Master's degree in Business Administration (MBA) or a related field, preferably with a specialization in marketing or healthcare marketing.

In-depth understanding of the regulatory environment for pharmaceutical marketing.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to translate data into actionable insights.

Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.

Experience in managing and leading a marketing team.

Budget management and financial acumen.

Proven ability to develop and manage effective marketing campaigns across multiple channels.

Strong knowledge of digital marketing strategies and best practices.

Skills & Competencies :

Project management skills to ensure timely and successful completion of marketing initiatives.

Excellent copywriting and editing skills to develop clear, concise, and compelling marketing materials.

Strong negotiation and vendor management skills.

Experience with marketing automation and CRM (Customer Relationship Management) software & Digital Marketing

Fluency in medical terminology a plus.
