Job Summary :

We are seeking a Senior Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) with deep expertise in designing, developing, and maintaining scalable automation frameworks. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Playwright, TestNG, Cucumber, and Rest Assured, along with solid programming knowledge in Java and exposure to CI / CD pipelines.

Responsibilities :

• Evaluate and enhance the existing Playwright automation framework to improve scalability, reliability, and maintainability.
• Design, develop, and maintain end-to-end automated test suites using Playwright, TestNG, and Cucumber.
• Build and integrate API automation using Rest Assured and Postman.
• Develop modular, reusable, and high-performance automation components.
• Refactor and optimize existing test scripts for improved readability and performance.
• Collaborate closely with developers, product owners, and QA leads to ensure complete test coverage and efficient defect triage.
• Integrate automation scripts with CI / CD pipelines (Jenkins or equivalent) for continuous testing and nightly regression runs.
• Proactively identify gaps in testing and propose improvements in QA processes and tools.
• Mentor and guide QA team members on best automation practices and framework enhancements.
• Work in Agile / Scrum environments, actively participating in sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives.
• Demonstrate basic understanding of DevOps concepts and deployment workflows.
