Key Responsibilities :
- Act as the primary point of contact for SAP EWM-related AMS support and issues.
- Lead and manage the AMS support team (onsite / offshore) for SAP EWM incidents, service requests, and change requests.
- Analyze, troubleshoot, and resolve complex issues in SAP EWM module, including warehouse structure, inbound / outbound processes, RF screens, and warehouse monitor.
- Collaborate with business users and cross-functional IT teams to understand requirements and deliver solutions.
- Coordinate regular AMS activities : incident resolution, system monitoring, batch job monitoring, and routine maintenance.
- Identify and implement process improvements, system optimizations, and automation opportunities.
- Prepare and maintain AMS documentation including SOPs, RCA reports, and knowledge base articles.
- Manage SLAs, KPIs, and provide regular reporting to stakeholders.
- Support minor enhancements, testing (unit, integration, UAT), and deployment activities.
- Ensure proper change management and compliance with IT governance processes.
- Mentor and guide junior consultants in the AMS team.
Key Skills & Qualifications :
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or equivalent.Minimum 8 years of SAP experience with at least 4 years in SAP EWM (embedded or decentralized) .Proven AMS experience in a lead role in support / maintenance projects.Strong functional knowledge of warehouse processes (inbound, outbound, inventory, HU management, RF).Experience with EWM integration with MM, SD, TM, and third-party systems.Familiarity with debugging and working with ABAP team for custom developments.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.ITIL certification or familiarity with ITIL-based processes is a plus.Experience working in global delivery models (onsite-offshore) is an advantage.Skills Required
