Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Chief Design & Chief Resident Engineer (Elevated Station & Depot- E & M) to join our team in Surat, India. In this pivotal role, you will lead the design and engineering efforts for elevated stations and depots, with a focus on electrical and mechanical systems for our cutting-edge transportation infrastructure projects.
Oversee the design and engineering of electrical and mechanical systems for elevated stations and depotsDevelop and implement innovative solutions to complex engineering challengesLead and mentor a team of engineers and designers, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvementEnsure compliance with all relevant industry standards, regulations, and safety requirementsCollaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate E&M systems with other aspects of station and depot designManage project timelines, budgets, and resources effectivelyConduct regular site visits to monitor construction progress and address any engineering issuesLiaise with clients, contractors, and stakeholders to ensure project objectives are metStay updated on emerging technologies and best practices in transportation infrastructure designQualifications
Master's degree in electrical or mechanical engineering requiredMinimum of 25 years of total experience and minimum 7 years' experience in design and engineering of elevated stations and depots, with a focus on E&M systemsProven expertise in electrical and mechanical systems for transportation infrastructureStrong leadership skills with experience managing large-scale engineering projectsProficiency in CAD software and engineering design toolsIn-depth knowledge of industry standards and regulations related to transportation infrastructureExcellent analytical and problem-solving skillsStrong communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environmentProfessional Engineering (PE) license preferredExperience with sustainable design practices and Building Information Modeling (BIM) is a plusWillingness to travel to project sites as neededSkills Required
