Role Overview

The Commercial Manager will be responsible for managing the organization's commercial and contractual activities, ensuring profitable growth, and driving operational efficiency.

This role involves overseeing business planning, negotiating and managing contracts, analyzing data for operational improvements, and leading cross-functional coordination to achieve strategic goals.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement commercial strategies aligned with company objectives.
  • Oversee contract negotiations, drafting, and management to ensure favorable terms and compliance.
  • Conduct detailed commercial analysis to identify business growth opportunities.
  • Collaborate with finance, operations, and project teams to ensure commercial viability of projects.
  • Monitor market trends and competitor activities to inform business decisions.
  • Ensure adherence to legal, contractual, and regulatory requirements in all commercial activities.
  • Lead and mentor the commercial team for effective performance delivery.
  • Manage cost controls, budgeting, and forecasting to achieve profit targets.
  • Maintain strong relationships with clients, vendors, and stakeholders to foster long-term partnerships.

Required Skillsets

  • Strong commercial management and contract negotiation skills.
  • Excellent knowledge of business planning, budgeting, and forecasting.
  • Advanced analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite and commercial management tools.
  • Solid understanding of legal and regulatory frameworks relevant to the industry.
