Job Overview :

We are seeking an experienced SAP ABAP Developer with deep expertise in the Utility sector (SAP IS-U / S / 4HANA Utilities) to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining ABAP programs and interfaces tailored to utility business processes, collaborating with functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions for enterprise customers in the utilities industry.

Key Responsibilities :

• Design, develop, and enhance custom ABAP applications, reports, forms (Adobe Forms, Smartforms), interfaces (IDocs, BAPIs, RFCs, OData), user exits, and enhancements for SAP IS-U and S / 4HANA Utilities solutions.
• Implement and configure SAP Utilities functionalities, supporting billing, metering, device management, contract management, and related business processes.
• Work closely with utility business analysts and functional consultants to gather requirements, analyze business needs, and translate them into technical solutions.
• Conduct unit, integration, and user acceptance testing; troubleshoot and resolve issues in new and existing ABAP developments for utility use cases.
• Ensure documentation, compliance, and sustainability of custom developments in line with industry and regulatory standards.
• Participate in agile project teams; contribute to code reviews and the continuous improvement of development standards and practices.
• Maintain strong knowledge of evolving SAP technologies and trends within the utility domain.
