We’re expanding across Karnataka in the coming months, starting with the Bengaluru market.
Overview
We’re looking for an experienced Sales Officer with FMCG experience — ideally in snacks, packaged foods, or beverages — to drive Rune’s presence across Modern Trade (MT) and key General Trade outlets in Bengaluru.
You’ll own store relationships, distributor coordination, and on-ground execution — from placement to visibility to sell-through.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and manage strong relationships with Modern Trade chains, regional supermarkets, and distributors.
- Drive secondary sales and ensure product availability and visibility across MT and high-volume GT outlets.
- Execute listing, promotions, and merchandising in line with company plans.
- Achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets (volume & value).
- Monitor stock levels, collections, and shelf performance through store visits and distributor coordination.
Requirements
Experience : 3 - 5 years in FMCG field sales, preferably in snacks / packaged food / beverages segment.Exposure to Modern Trade and supermarket operations (store-level interactions, merchandising, visibility) is a must.Proven track record of achieving or exceeding sales targets.Own two-wheeler with valid driving license (mandatory).Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.Self-motivated and able to work independently with limited supervision.Compensation
