Job Overview
We are seeking a Mid-Level Investor Relations professional to join our team in Mumbai. This full-time position is ideal for candidates with 4-6 years of experience, offering the opportunity to manage and grow investor relationships, communicate with Limited Partners (LPs), and support our fundraising initiatives for alternative investments.
Qualifications and Skills
- Comprehensive experience handling LP Relations (Mandatory skill), coordinating communications, updates, and due diligence requests for both prospective and current LPs.
- Demonstrated expertise in fundraising activities for venture capital, alternative investments, or private equity funds, with proven results in securing capital commitments.
- Strong skills in investor communication, including preparing high-quality reports, investor presentations, and regular portfolio updates to ensure transparency.
- Experience within venture capital or private equity, particularly with early-stage startups and diversified investment strategies.
- Proficiency managing HNI client relationships, understanding their investment goals and tailoring communications to align with their interests and needs.
- Proven ability to network and build relationships with potential and existing investors, financial institutions, and industry peers to expand the investor base.
- Solid client relations background, with a customer-first attitude and strong commitment to relationship management best practices in a highly regulated environment.
- Knowledge of alternative investments, including compliance requirements, reporting standards, and operational processes for SEBI registered funds.
Roles and Responsibilities
Serve as the primary point of contact for the fund’s existing and prospective investors, providing timely responses, portfolio updates, and operational communications.Drive all LP Relations initiatives, including onboarding new investors, managing investor records, query resolution, and maintaining high service standards.Oversee fundraising campaigns by preparing compelling pitch materials, participating in investor meetings, and tracking capital commitments across various channels.Build and nurture a network of HNIs and institutional investors, continually identifying new channels for capital inflow and strengthening existing relationships.Collaborate with investment, legal, and compliance teams to ensure accurate and timely dissemination of fund reports, performance metrics, and compliance information.Organize investor roadshows, webinars, and events to update stakeholders on fund performance, deal flow, and sector opportunities, enhancing investor engagement.Create, update, and deliver materials including newsletters, fund presentations, and annual reports, communicating all major portfolio developments with transparency.Monitor and communicate relevant industry trends, market intelligence, and regulatory updates to inform both internal teams and investors.
