About the Role :
We are seeking a highly skilled AWS Developer with expertise in cloud-native application development, containerization, and automation. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience with AWS core services, modern container technologies, and scripting for automation, along with the ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
Key Responsibilities :
- Cloud Application Development : Design, develop, and deploy scalable, high-availability applications on AWS using services such as EC2, S3, Lambda, API Gateway, and CloudFormation.
- Containerization & Orchestration : Build and manage containerized applications using Docker and orchestrate workloads using Kubernetes (EKS preferred).
- Automation & Tooling : Develop scripts and automation tools using Python and Bash to streamline deployments, monitoring, and maintenance tasks.
- GoLang Development : Implement backend microservices and APIs in GoLang for performance-intensive use cases (good to have).
- DevOps Collaboration : Work closely with DevOps teams to enhance CI / CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or GitLab CI), ensuring smooth code integration and deployment.
- Monitoring & Optimization : Utilize AWS monitoring tools (CloudWatch, X-Ray) to troubleshoot performance issues and optimize system resources.
- Security Compliance : Implement AWS best practices for IAM roles, encryption, and networking security.
Required Skills & Experience :
AWS Expertise : Minimum 2- 3 years hands-on experience with core AWS services (EC2, S3, Lambda, API Gateway, RDS, CloudFormation / Terraform).Container Technologies : Proven experience with Docker and Kubernetes (EKS preferred).Scripting : Proficiency in Python and Bash for automation and tooling.Microservices Development : Exposure to GoLang for backend API / microservice development (preferred but not mandatory).CI / CD Tools : Experience integrating with Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or GitLab CI / CD pipelines.Version Control : Strong knowledge of Git workflows.Nice-to-Have Skills :
Experience with Terraform for infrastructure-as-code.Knowledge of AWS security best practices.Exposure to monitoring and logging tools like Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack.Familiarity with Agile / Scrum development methodologies.(ref : hirist.tech)
