Role Overview :
We are seeking an experienced ServiceNow Developer / Consultant with deep expertise in IT Service Management (ITSM) modules and hands-on skills in customization, scripting, and integrations. The role requires strong technical proficiency in ServiceNow platform development, including workflows, automation, APIs, and Service Portal customization.
Key Responsibilities :
- Design, develop, configure, and customize solutions on the ServiceNow platform.
- Work extensively across ITSM modules including Incident, Change, Problem, and Knowledge Management.
- Develop and modify Workflows, Business Rules, Script Includes, Client Scripts, and UI Policies.
- Create and support REST integrations and develop custom APIs to integrate ServiceNow with other enterprise systems.
- Customize and enhance the Service Portal to improve user experience and service delivery.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
- Ensure solutions follow ServiceNow best practices for maintainability, scalability, and performance.
- Participate in testing, troubleshooting, and resolving platform-related issues.
- Stay updated with the latest ServiceNow features, capabilities, and releases.
Required Skills & Qualifications :
Strong hands-on experience with ServiceNow ITSM modules : Incident, Change, Problem, and Knowledge Management.Proficiency in JavaScript and ServiceNow scripting components : Workflows, Business Rules, Script Includes, Client Scripts, and UI Policies.Experience with REST integrations and developing custom APIs within ServiceNow.Hands-on expertise in Service Portal customization and development.Knowledge of ServiceNow data structures, ACLs, and security best practices.Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.Preferred : ServiceNow certifications such as Certified System Administrator (CSA), Certified Implementation Specialist (CIS) in ITSM.
