Executive – CAD Designer (Furniture Industry)

Location : Pune, Chennai, Ahmedabad, Delhi

Experience : 1–6 years

Salary : ₹30,000–₹35,000 per month (in-hand)

Working Days : 6 days / week

Reporting to : Design Manager

✨ Key Responsibilities

Tender Support & Collaboration

Work with sales team to understand tender requirements and suggest design solutions.

Ensure compliance and maximize scoring while maintaining profit margins.

Design Development

Create layouts, workstation grids, and floor plans using AutoCAD / Pytha.

Validate site measurements and coordinate with architects / PMCs.

BOQ & Quotation

Prepare bill of quantities and rate cards.

Suggest cost-effective alternatives to meet budget.

Tender Submission

Compile and submit complete tender documents (drawings, BOQ, certificates).

Track clarifications and prepare presentation boards.

Presentation & Mock-ups

Create 3D renders and client-ready PowerPoint decks.

Documentation & Reporting

Maintain organized archives of drawings and quotations.

Submit design packages within 24 hours of client sign-off.

Share weekly / monthly reports with leadership.

Cross-Team Coordination

Liaise with engineering, factory, logistics, and installation teams.

Client Interaction & Site Visits

Visit client sites with sales team to take measurements and understand requirements.

Product & Finish Selection

Present finishes and materials aligned with client branding.

Offer alternatives based on budget and timelines.

Order Processing

Convert final BOQ into internal orders and submit within 24 hours.

Qualifications & Skills

Education : Diploma or Bachelor's in Interior Design, Architecture, or Industrial Design

Experience : 2–4 years in commercial interiors or workspace design

Tools : AutoCAD, Pytha, SolidWorks, MS PowerPoint & Excel; basic CRM / ERP knowledge

Knowledge : Office furniture standards
