Biota Precision Agriculture™ is an AgriTech startup building practical technology solutions that help farmers make better decisions, reduce input costs, and adopt smart farming practices. We work with farmers, FPOs, agribusinesses, and institutions across India and are expanding our digital and international presence.

Internship Type

• Training-based internship (learning + mentorship focused)
• Duration: 4–6 weeks (extendable based on performance)
• Mode: On-Site
• Time commitment: 6–8 flexible hours per week

What You Will Learn

• Fundamentals of startup marketing strategy
• Market research and competitor analysis
• Understanding rural and agri-business customers
• Lead generation basics and outreach planning
• Exposure to real startup business development discussions

This is a guided internship with structured mentorship.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Research FPOs, Krishi Bhavans, and agri-organizations
• Prepare structured outreach lists (contacts, emails, locations)
• Study competitors and similar agritech products
• Assist in brainstorming marketing ideas and campaigns
• Support in organizing user feedback and insights

Note:

This is a mentored role. Interns will not be responsible for direct client negotiations or independent outreach..

Who Can Apply

• Students pursuing BBA, BCom, MBA, Economics, Marketing, or related fields
• Interest in startups, consulting, or market research
• Basic knowledge of Excel/Google Sheets preferred
• Curiosity to learn and willingness to work in a startup environment
• No prior experience required
