About the Role
We are seeking an NLU Engineer to design, develop, and optimize conversational AI systems. You will be responsible for intent recognition, entity extraction, and dialogue management to enhance AI-driven user interactions.
Responsibilities
- Develop and optimize NLU pipelines using frameworks like Rasa, spaCy, or Hugging Face Transformers.
- Implement and fine-tune text classification, named entity recognition (NER), and semantic parsing models.
- Train and deploy language models (LLMs) tailored for specific domains.
- Enhance multilingual NLU capabilities by integrating diverse language datasets.
- Preprocess and analyze large-scale textual datasets to improve model accuracy.
- Conduct A / B testing and model evaluation using metrics like F1-score, accuracy, and perplexity.
- Deploy NLU models into production environments using cloud-based AI services like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
- Develop and maintain NLU training datasets and oversee continuous model retraining.
Requirements
Proficiency in Python and experience with NLP libraries like spaCy, NLTK, Hugging Face, or Rasa.Hands-on experience with deep learning frameworks (TensorFlow, PyTorch) for NLP tasks.Has knowledge of LLM frameworks such as langchain, langGraph, OpenAI realtime APIsFamiliarity with transformer-based models (BERT, GPT, T5, etc.).Understanding of speech-to-text (STT) and text-to-speech (TTS) technologies.Experience with vector databases and retrieval-augmented generation (RAG).Strong problem-solving skills and ability to optimize NLU models for real-world applications.Preferred Qualifications
Experience in LLM fine-tuning and prompt engineering.Knowledge of knowledge graphs and ontologies for improved intent handling.Familiarity with cloud AI services and deployment best practices.About Eltropy
