Job Description of Costing Engineer :
1. Prepare quantity sheet from onsite data & drawings.
2. Prepare bill of quantities (BOQ).
3. To take check the measurement from the site.
4. To follow up on the accounts department for payment.
5. Ensuring Completion Certificate for each project.
6. To get work done as per the protocol of the company.
7. Meet & discuss with client to determine factors affecting planning of interior environments, such as budget, architectural preferences, purpose & function, confer with clients to determine their needs.
8. Review details of technical drawings or specifications.
9. Coordinate with interior works and installation activities.
10. Present work to clients for approval.
11. Estimate material requirements and costs.
12. Prepare and submit accurate progress bills, advance bills, and final bills to clients.
13. Estimate costs for the projects.
14. Render design ideas in form of paste-ups or drawings.
15. Planning, studying and collecting data to determine costs of project activities such as raw material purchases, inventory and labour.
Qualifications
Education : Diploma or Graduate in Interior Design / Civil Engineers or similar. .
Experience : Relevant industry experience would be preferred.
Strong knowledge of materials, finishes, lighting, and ergonomic design
Effective communicator with excellent coordination and presentation skills.
Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously with a result-oriented approach.
Team player with a proactive attitude and a sense of ownership.
