Role Overview

As a Director, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the strategic direction of the GBS Advisory practice. You will lead complex transformation engagements, set up and scale Global Business Services (GBS) operations across multi-functional domains, manage senior client relationships, and drive business development initiatives. You will be responsible for delivering high-impact solutions, mentoring teams, and contributing to the growth of the practice.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead large-scale GBS transformation and set up programs across industries, from strategy through execution
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to CXO-level clients, providing insights on service delivery models, sourcing strategies, and operational excellence
  • Drive business development by identifying opportunities, crafting compelling proposals, and leading client pitches
  • Drive project delivery, ensuring quality, timeliness, and client satisfaction
  • Develop and refine methodologies, frameworks, and thought leadership in GBS and sourcing strategy
  • Build and nurture high-performing teams, coach and mentor junior staff
  • Collaborate across service lines and geographies to deliver integrated solutions
  • Represent the firm in industry forums and contribute to shaping brand-building initiatives
  • Skills & Experience

  • 12+ years of relevant experience in management consulting or industry roles focused on shared services, outsourcing, or GBS
  • Preferred expertise in Retail, IT, Private Equity, Healthcare & Insurance sector
  • Proven track record of leading complex transformation programs and managing senior stakeholders
  • Deep expertise in one or more functional areas : Finance, Procurement, HR, IT Operations
  • Strong understanding of sourcing models, vendor ecosystems, and global delivery strategies
  • Exceptional analytical, communication, and presentation skills
  • Experience in building financial models, business cases, and operating models
  • Ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage multiple priorities
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with a passion for innovation and growth
