Job description

About the Role :

We are seeking an experienced economist to focus on emerging Asian markets (excluding China). You will track economic trends, forecast developments, and translate insights into actionable investment ideas that help shape global portfolios.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Monitor macroeconomic indicators, currencies, interest rates, inflation, and government policies in emerging Asian markets.
  • Provide forward-looking economic forecasts and analysis to support investment decisions.
  • Identify geopolitical, policy, and market trends that could impact investment opportunities and risks.
  • Collaborate with global teams to translate research into actionable investment strategies.

Requirements :

  • Strong background in macro-economic research , preferably in emerging Asian markets.
  • Solid understanding of currencies, interest rates, inflation, and government policies in the region.
  • Ability to convert economic insights into actionable investment ideas .
