The opportunity

As a PMO Analyst within the EY GDS Team, you will be responsible for providing support and enablement services as part of our EY GDS – TechOps team. You will engage in collaboration with cross-functional teams to ensure effective project execution and alignment with organizational goals, supporting the PMO Lead in various initiatives.

In the role of Business PMO Analyst, you will oversee and manage our Business Project Management Office. The ideal candidate will bring a strong background in project management, a deep understanding of the technology sector, and excellent leadership skills. You will drive strategic initiatives across the organization, ensuring that our projects are executed efficiently and effectively while supporting the PMO Lead in achieving overall objectives.

Your Key Responsibilities

• Project Oversight :
• Oversee the allocation management and overall projects within the team.
• Ensure timely completion of projects while adhering to scope and budget constraints.
• Governance and Compliance :
• Establish and maintain project governance frameworks and methodologies.
• Ensure adherence to organizational policies and standards.
• Resource Management :
• Collaborate with department heads to effectively allocate resources across projects.
• Monitor resource utilization and provide recommendations for optimization.
• Stakeholder Engagement :
• Serve as the primary point of contact for internal stakeholders.
• Facilitate communication between project teams and senior management.
• Performance Tracking :
• Develop and implement project performance metrics and KPIs.
• Regularly report project status, risks, and issues to senior management.
• Risk Management :
• Identify potential project risks and formulate mitigation strategies.
• Conduct regular risk assessments and ensure appropriate action plans are established.
• Continuous Improvement :
• Foster a culture of continuous improvement within the PMO.
• Identify opportunities for process enhancements and implement best practices.
• Training and Development :
• Mentor and train project managers and team members on learning and development strategies, building execution plans.
• Organize workshops and training sessions to enhance project management skills within the organization.
• Reporting and Documentation :
• Maintain comprehensive process documentation, ensuring all project artifacts are current.
• Prepare and present project reports to senior leadership.
