Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities :

Design, build, and maintain scalable and secure infrastructure using IaC tools like Terraform, Cloud formation etc.

Own end-to-end infrastructure right from non-prod to prod environment, including self-managed DBs, [On-premises and AWS / GCP cloud]

Manage and enhance CI / CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI / CD, GitHub Actions, CircleCI).

Implement and support containerization (Docker) and orchestration (Kubernetes, ECS, etc.).

Monitor infrastructure performance, availability, and security using tools like Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack, Datadog, or similar.

Automate manual processes and improve system reliability and scalability.

Collaborate with developers to streamline code integration, testing, and deployment workflows.

Ensure systems are compliant with security best practices and perform regular audits and updates.

Troubleshoot production issues and participate in on-call rotation as needed.

Lead infrastructure projects and mentor junior team members.

Required Qualifications :

Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).

8+ years of experience in DevOps, SRE, or related roles.

Certifications such as AWS Certified DevOps Engineer is preferred.

Proficient in cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP (AWS preferred).

Must have a firm hold on the container orchestration tool Kubernetes

Strong scripting skills (e.g., Bash, Python, Go).

Experience with IaC tools like Terraform, Ansible, or CloudFormation.

Experience working with database technologies MongoDB / Redis / Elasticsearch / Kafka

Improve observability of the system, troubleshoot production incidents, identify root causes, and implement corrective and preventive measures.

Solid understanding of Linux / Unix systems.

Familiarity with GitOps and modern DevOps practices.

Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Experience in a fast-paced Agile environment is a plus.
