Investment Accountant

Location : Mohali, Onsite | 1 PM - 10 PM IST

Salary : Negotiable on the current package

iO Associates is hiring an Investment Accountant to join the Joint Venture Finance Team in India. This role offers the chance to build technical expertise and business insight in a fast-paced environment, supporting the Finance Manager with investment accounting for UK property portfolios while collaborating with European finance teams, service providers, and auditors.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare reporting packs (month / quarter / year-end) for holding & Propco entities.
  • Manage quarterly consolidations across residential property portfolios.
  • Handle accruals, prepayments, journal entries, and lender reporting (cash waterfalls, compliance, covenants).
  • Support investor reporting audited financial statements, and audit requirements.
  • Calculate management fees, review VAT returns, and assist with tax computations.

What We're Looking For

  • Qualified Chartered accountant with 5+ years' experience.
  • Background in real estate finance, ideally with offshore structures.
  • Strong knowledge of GAAPs, IFRS, and audit.
  • Proficient in accounting software (Yardi a plus) and MS Office.
  • Excellent Stakeholder Management skills.
