Brand Consultant – Baby Care (Retainer, 6–8 Months)
We are seeking an experienced Brand Consultant (Retainer) to lead the launch of our Baby Care category . This is a short-term engagement (6–8 months) where the consultant will play a pivotal role in shaping the brand from the ground up – from strategy and product development to go-to-market execution.
Key Responsibilities :
- Define the brand vision, positioning, and value proposition for the Baby Care portfolio.
- Conduct market research and consumer insight mining to identify gaps and opportunities in the Baby Care segment.
- Lead New Product Development (NPD) : concept to execution (product design, packaging, pricing, testing).
- Create go-to-market strategies including distribution model, retail activation, digital campaigns, and launch calendar.
- Drive ATL & BTL launch campaigns , ensuring strong parent and caregiver connect.
- Partner with R&D, Sales, Supply Chain, and agencies to ensure timely and successful product rollout.
- Establish launch metrics (awareness, trials, adoption) and monitor post-launch performance.
Requirements :
7–8+ years of experience in FMCG brand management / consulting with a must-have background in Baby Care category (soaps, lotions, wipes, shampoos, diapers, etc.).Proven success in new product / category launches and market entry strategies .Strong expertise in consumer insights, innovation, and go-to-market planning.Hands-on experience with ATL / BTL execution and integrated marketing campaigns.Ability to deliver outcomes within a fixed-term retainer engagement .
