About the Role

We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Backend Developer with 5+ years of experience to join our engineering team. The ideal candidate has a strong background in building scalable, real-time backend systems and a passion for enabling AI-driven, mission-critical energy solutions. You will design APIs, optimize data pipelines, and ensure seamless integration between our embedded systems, monitoring platforms, and predictive intelligence layers.

Location : Office-based at our Trivandrum, Kerala office

What You'll Do

Architect and develop robust backend services for Gridian Pulse (real-time monitoring) and

Intellix (predictive AI intelligence).

Build and maintain secure APIs (REST, GraphQL, gRPC) to support dashboards, mobile clients,

and third-party integrations.

Implement real-time data streaming pipelines (MQTT, WebSockets, Kafka, or Redis Streams)

for telemetry from energy / telecom sites.

Integrate AI / ML models into backend workflows for anomaly detection, predictive maintenance,

and load forecasting.

Design and optimize databases (SQL + time-series DBs such as InfluxDB or TimescaleDB) for

storing high-frequency telemetry.

Ensure high availability, fault tolerance, and security across distributed multi-site deployments.

Collaborate with frontend, embedded, and DevOps teams to ensure end-to-end delivery of

intelligent energy systems.

Implement logging, monitoring, and alerting for real-time system health and performance

tracking.

Required Qualifications

5+ years of professional experience in backend development.

Proficiency in Node.js / Python / Go / Java (Node.js or Python preferred for our stack).

Strong knowledge of API development (REST / GraphQL) and real-time data protocols

(WebSockets, MQTT, Kafka).

Solid experience with databases (PostgreSQL / MySQL + time-series DBs like InfluxDB,

TimescaleDB).

Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure) and container orchestration (Docker,

Kubernetes).

Strong understanding of security standards (OAuth2, JWT, RBAC, TLS).

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related technical field.
