Job Description : Selenium Mobile Tester

Responsibilities

Develop, maintain, and execute automated test scripts for mobile platforms using Selenium WebDriver and Appium.

Collaborate with developers, product managers, and cross-functional QA teams to understand requirements and build effective test strategies.

Identify, log, and track defects; perform regression, exploratory, and performance testing to validate bug fixes and new features.

Manage mobile test environments, configure devices / emulators, and ensure test data reliability.

Provide detailed and accurate test reports, document processes and outcomes, and continuously improve testing infrastructure and best practices.

Integrate automated tests with CI / CD pipelines using tools such as Jenkins or GitHub Actions.

Perform cross-browser and cross-device compatibility testing for mobile apps.

Maintain manual test cases for critical scenarios and participate in user acceptance testing when required.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.

Hands-on experience in mobile automation testing using Selenium and Appium on Android and iOS devices.

Strong understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) and agile methodologies.

Proficiency in programming languages for test scripting (Java, Python, or JavaScript).

Familiarity with bug tracking and test management tools (JIRA, TestNG, Allure).

Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Experience with CI / CD tools (Jenkins, GitHub Actions) is a plus
