Location : Kharadi, Pune

Role : Project Manager – Reconciliation

Job Purpose

The Reconciliation team is part of Portfolio Accounting and provides daily Cash and Stock positions across a wide range of products. It is a key activity ensuring accuracy and timeliness of trade data. This role is responsible for assessing current state processes for Fund Accounting Reconciliations and developing future state requirements by working with operations and technology teams.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Assess current state processes and workflows, including data and process hand-offs with Custody, Middle Office, and Global businesses.
  • Gather requirements, prepare BRDs, and drive execution.
  • Manage stakeholders proactively, including effective email communication, timely meeting minutes, and follow-ups.
  • Act as a catalyst between Business Operations and Technology for all requirements.
  • Develop current state / future state requirement documents with product and technology teams.
  • Optimize productivity by designing, implementing, and testing new procedures.
  • Assemble reports to document process status and changes.
  • Track metrics to identify areas of improvement and monitor system / process upgrades.
  • Communicate findings and proposals to senior management.
  • Assess opportunities within reconciliations for efficiency, scalability, and control enhancements.
  • Collaborate with global teams to ensure end-to-end workflow improvements.
  • Demonstrate expertise in reconciliation of cash accounts between external custodians and accounting records.

Additional Skills

  • Strong Business Analyst background is essential.
  • Excellent communication skills (written and verbal) with the ability to manage multiple stakeholders.
  • Strong stakeholder management through regular updates and calls.
  • Ability to work under tight deadlines.
  • Experience in project management and strong understanding of capital market attributes such as transaction types, corporate actions, income / coupons, settlements, life cycles, and SWIFT payments.
  • Qualification & Experience

  • 7+ years of Project Management experience.
  • Excellent analytical skills.
